First Holy Communion

This coming Sunday 18th May we welcome the 2nd class girls from St Pius X School who will celebrate their First Holy Communion at our 11.30am morning Mass.  We pray for the girls, their families and teachers.

The following Sunday, 25th May the 2nd class boys will join us for the celebration of their First Holy Communion.

Thank you to the principals, teachers and staff who have assisted in the preparation of the children for the Sacrament and to our parish volunteers who have assisted in the preparation of the church and are assisting on both Sundays. And a special thank you to our own children’s choir and their leaders who will be singing at both Masses.

The centre of the church will be reserved for the First Communion children and their families and the side pews will be available for parishioners and others joining us. Our volunteer stewards will be available to guide everyone to their seating.

You may also wish to allow a little more time to approach the church and to access the carpark. Alternatively if the weather is nice you may find it easier to walk to the church.
