Month of the Rosary

As the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary falls on the 7th October, the whole month is dedicated to the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Each week during the month of October, on one afternoon each week, we will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction during which we will recite the rosary – one afternoon for each of the mysteries – at 3.00pm to 4.00pm, in St Pius X Church

Wednesday 7^th – The Glorious Mysteries (Our Lady of The Rosary)

Tuesday 13^th – The Sorrowful Mysteries

Thursday 22^nd – The Mysteries of Light (Feast of St John Paul II)

Monday 26^th – The Joyful Mysteries

As a Parish we need to continue to develop our relationship with and devotion to Mary, as she is the best way for us to make contact with her Son, Jesus Christ, and her intercession on our behalf is indispensable. Starting from the moment of her Immaculate Conception Mary lays out the Incarnation path on which we live out our lives always moving closer to her Son. As always, we continue to pray the Rosary before morning Mass on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week.
