(Pray each day for the 9 days leading to the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
on June 7 th or over any 9 days, and participate in Holy Mass each day)

Novena Prayer

Lord Jesus, You have said, ‘Ask and you shall receive,
seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you’.
I come to You in faith and trust, in love and hope.
I knock, I seek, and I ask for your grace
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you,
heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Encouraged by your infallible words I now seek your grace
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

Let me know Your closeness to me Lord, and Your care of me,
of all who are dear to me, and of all for whom I pray.
My intention for this Novena is dear to me and I know that
what is important to me is important to You.

Hear the prayers I bring to You today.

I humbly ask You to grant what I ask if it is according to Your will.
May I always trust that in all that happens in life
I will remain close to You, my friend, saviour and guide.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted,
have pity on us frail sinners and grant us the grace we ask of you,
through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary,
your tender Mother and ours.
