World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

This day of remembrance is observed each year on the 3rd Sunday of November. It is a day for families, communities and nations around the world to remember those who have lost their lives or been seriously injured on our roads, and to honour the bereaved, the survivors and the emergency services personnel who respond to these tragedies.
This Sunday our parish hosts this celebration at our 11.30am Mass. We warmly welcome all who have joined us for this celebration of remembrance, in particular bereaved families and friends, members of the emergency services and the visiting choir.
All are welcome.

Mayor of SDCC Cllr. Pamela Kearns and Orlaith Maguire (Road Safety Officer SDCC) with Rev William Deverell (St. Maelruain’s Church) and Fr. Pat McKinley at St. Pius X Church, Templeogue to launch the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
